On the tour, you’ll spend 90 minutes driving through the property stopping to learn about and sample the different fruits being grown. ![]() All of their produce is hand-picked and you’ll see it sold at various places around Maui. And this isn’t just a farm - this 50-acre farm is one of the largest tropical fruit farms in Hawaii. Between each course, the chef comes out to discuss what produce is being used to prepare each dish. You’ll then sit down for a multi-course gourmet lunch prepared by a chef. You’ll start the tour with a walk through the property, learning about the different produce grown on-site. If the health department arrived, he would not receive good marks. It was fun to make coconut milk at the end, but again him preparing the coconut with unclean hands made the whole thing a little nauseating. He even picked a fresh mango and then stashed it somewhere and did not share with the group. What if one member of our group has it cold? We spread it to our whole group? Gross!! How about a paper straw for each person? We were not given any other fruit as per the description online. For $50 a piece, I would have expected my own personal straw, but we had to share with our group which is pretty disgusting. It was quite unsanitary and I do not know how they sterilize the metal straws they gave us all to drink out of, but it did not feel clean. BEWARE- we had the farm owner’s son as a tour guide, I never saw him wash his hands, he rubbed his nose a lot, coughed and was preparing coconut water, coconut flesh, etc. It is not suitable for selling without proper labeling and should be known to the customer if it is cut with corn syrup. BEWARE- The coconut “honey“ is fake, it is cut with corn syrup! What a shame!!! They’re selling a tiny bottle for $10 and I found it odd that there was no ingredients listed. Everyone was antsy and ready to leave at least 30 minutes prior. Our “tour” was nearly 3 hours which was way too long. An hour and a half to two hours tops would have been a good amount of time. The tour needs a lot of improvements, there was a lot of standing around baking in the sun and a little too much talking. ![]()
